Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
Rime Family is provided by Kramer Consulting BV, Utrecht, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). Questions: support@rimedata.nl. The service lives at app.rimefamily.com.
2. What Rime Family does
Rime Family helps a household see its week: big commitments, conflicts, and the small things that need care. It reads calendars, school notices and messages that you connect or forward, and shows them to the people in your household according to the roles a parent sets. It does not make decisions for you or replace the schools, doctors or other services your family relies on.
3. Your account and your household
A parent starts a household and is responsible for it, for the people they add, and for everything entered in it. You must be 18 or older to start a household. Children's profiles are created and managed by a parent; a child never needs their own email address. Keep your password and any PINs private.
4. Free trial, price and cancelling
New households may start with a free trial of 30 days. After the trial the subscription renews until it is cancelled. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. You can cancel or change your card at any time on the billing page, and your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Prices and taxes are shown at checkout. If a payment fails, we will email the parents and Stripe will retry before access is paused.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put in. You give us permission to store it and to process it (including with automated reading tools) only to run Rime Family for your household. Do not upload anything you have no right to share, anything unlawful, or other families' private information.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the service, to access another household, or to use Rime Family to monitor someone against their wishes. We may suspend households that do.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Rime Family available but do not promise it will always be, and it is provided "as is". Sample data and summaries made by automated reading can be wrong: check dates and details before relying on them. We may change features and these terms; we will tell you about changes that matter.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose, and we are not liable for indirect loss, such as a missed appointment. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending your account
A parent can export everything and delete the household at any time in Settings. Deleting removes the household's data and the logins that belonged only to it. We may close accounts that break these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise.
